Veteran's Day - November 11
Lord God, Almighty Father,
creator of mankind and author of peace,
as we are ever mindful of the cost paid for the liberty we possess,
we ask you to bless the members of our armed forces.
Give them courage, hope and strength.
May they ever experience your firm support, gentle love and compassionate healing.
Be their power and protector, leading them from darkness to light.
To you be all glory, honor and praise, now and forever. Amen.
Starting next Sunday, November 15th at the 9:00am Mass, and each 3rd Sunday 9:00am Mass monthly thereafter, children in kindergarten through 8th grade are invited to serve as lectors. Proclaiming God’s Word is a beautiful way for our young parishioners to take part in the liturgy and share their gifts with the parish family. If your child is interested in being a lector, please email Ryan and Amanda Ayala at re@holyspirit-tempe-az.org.
